Hubby's Birthday Card

Hi all :)

Popping in with a quick card to share, I made this for my husbands birthday last month. His birthday came up so quickly I was madly making this late the night before lol.

I used

Happy Birthday to You Chipboard Quote Block

I used black pigment ink and black embossing powder on the Quote Block and after heat embossing it I added a small amount of Rusty Hinge and Weathered Wood Distress Oxide's to scruff it up a bit because my husband is a bit scruffy lol.

The die cut card bases are also distressed with Distress Oxide

  1. Black Soot
  2. Rusty Hinge
  3. Weathered Wood
  4. Hickory Smoke

I'm pleased to say he was very happy with his scruffy card ;)

Mila's Heart Class! THE COLORING LAB

Hey there :)

I'm excited to share my card today firstly because I'm so happy with how it turned out and secondly because this is the latest class that Zoe has created over at THE COLORING LAB, if you haven't already checked it out I would 100% recommend that you do.

Doing this class has opened my eyes to quite a few new techniques so if you're a beginner or advanced colourer I believe you will find something to learn in all of Zoe's classes at THE COLORING LAB.

Here's the colours used

I used a white pigment ink and white embossing powder and heat embossed the base of the XOXO and coloured the top layer with R24 and R29 copics.

I hope you like my card and you head over to THE COLORING LAB for some more inspiration!

Beautiful Bloom Card Kit - My Favorite Things

Hello peeps

Today I'm sharing a card that I made use the Beautiful Bloom Card Kit I purchased from My Favorite Things a few weeks ago.
I've been in a bit a crafting funk with my mojo going on holidays without me lol so I decided to make a birthday card with the kit because it has everything you need and you don't have to think too much and I must say it has me itching to create again which is ideal.

The background paper is one that I made awhile ago with distress oxides.

I coloured the flower with Copic Markers

YR61, 01, 65, 02, 27.

The Kit came with Card Stock, Flower Stamp, Sentiment Stamp Set, 'Beautiful' Die and Flower Die.

Even though having these kits shipped from America can be pricey they are worth it, I love it.

Thanks MFT for helping to get me out of my crafting funk
