Bessie Lulu - Stamping Bella

Hello :)
Oooolala, look at this gorgeous little petal from Stamping Bell. Her name is Bessie Lulu and she is a digital image.
I love soooooooo many of the Stamping Bella rubber stamps but I have to save my pennies for my trip to America in November so my desire for some rubber will have to wait :(

She's such a delicate little petal I chose to colour her in soft pastels, using Copic Markers and Polchromos Pencils.

Skin - E000, 00, 01, 11, 93. Eyes - Brown 179 pencil. Hair - E41, 42, 43, Brown Ochre 182 pencil,
Dress - C1, 2, 4, RV52, 63,. Flowers - RV52, 63, 55, C2, Cold Grey V 234, Warm GreyII 271, Stem - Pine Green 267 pencil, Shadows - BV20.

Spookalicious Esmeralda

Hello :)

Today I am sharing a CAS card I made using the gorgeous Esmeralda from Make it Crafty.
I have been teaching a friend of mine some different colouring techniques over the last couple of weeks and she asked how to do monochromatic colouring so I thought I would use Esmeralda to show her how I do monochromatic colouring and how I do the no line technique.

I used the Copic Neutral Tones N1 through N10 to colour her with the addition of 4 polychromos pencils - White 101, Cold Grey 255, Paynes Grey 181 & Black 199 and Copic YR18 for the background along with Memento 'Potters Clay' Dye Ink. For the Magic Swirl (my second attempt) I laid down the pattern with White pencil then started by dotting several dots with white gel pen then adding black spica pen dots then clear spica pen dots to complete the effect. I think I will need to practice this technique a few more times.

The sentiment I used was a freebie I got from the Make it Crafty Facebook group last year.

I was totally inspired to attempt the magic swirls after watching the youtube video Zoe (from Make it Crafty) created.

Alwina the Good Witch - Make it Carfty

Hi friends, it feels like ages in-between posts I've been busy with family stuff and haven't had much time for crafting, although I did get enough time to create this CAS card using one of the fabulous New Images from Make it Crafty.

Zoe from Make it Crafty has created a fabulous you tube video  coloring one of the new images and explaining how to do the sparkly swirl, I recommend sitting down with a cuppa, watching and learning from this very talented lady.

Colours used - Skin - E000, 00, 01, 11, 04. Eyes - B60, 63, N6. Hair - B60, 63, 66. Dress - C00, 0, 1, 2, 4. White Gel pen, Clear Spica pen. The Swirl was done with a white pencil, white gel pen, clear and black Spica pens. I did struggle to get a photo that shows the sparkle unfortunately.

Background - C9 and Black pigment ink. I carefully coloured around the image then roughly to the edges of the card with the Copic C9 then using the ink and a dauber smudged around the edges.

The sentiment is from LDRS - Fairytale Sentiments.  I stamped onto black cardstock with a white pigment ink and heat embossed with a white embossing powder.

I am entering this card in the following challenges -

Hoping to get some more creative time this week :) Thanks for stopping by.
