Knock Knock!!

Hello Friends :)

The card I'm sharing today is for a special little girl who's currently in hospital fighting a battle a child should never have to go through  :(  so I thought (with the help of some special friends) I'd make a card to brighten her day and what's better then a Knock Knock joke to make you smile??

This is the first of the Knock Knock joke cards I'll be sending to this little girl, I don't know how else I can help her.

I coloured the images with Copic Markers but unfortunately I didn't keep track of the ones I used, sorry. It was an emotional card to make and I just didn't think.

Here's hoping she has a giggle or two

Thanks for stopping by, I'll be back soon with some more jokes ;)

Sk8tr - Boys, Boys, Boys - Tiddly Inks Challenge

G'Day :)

Today's post is a dual DT post using Urban Streets Collection from Make it Crafty and Sk8tr from Tiddly Inks. I coloured the background first and thought it looked pretty cool without colour on Sk8tr but then changed my mind and was going to go with bright colours although I still wasn't convinced, so I messaged the boss lady 'Zoe' to get her opinion and it was decided to go with my first instinct and to add some cast shadows for some depth and drama.

It's a new month which means a new challenge over at Tiddly Inks and the challenge is BOY'S BOY'S BOY'S!!

So here it is I hope you like it.

Coloured with Copic Markers, Distress Oxide and Ranger Paint Dabber.

Back Wall and Dark Shadow - Black 100

Road - T7

Sidewalk and Bricks - T3, T5

Cast Shadows on Sk8tr - T5

I blended the Distress Oxide around the central image.

I used the Ranger White Paint Dabber for the base layer on the Birthday word and for the Alpha letter for the 'BOY' word. I used the Black 100 Copic Marker for the top layer of the Birthday word.

Thanks for stopping by
