Another Wedding Card - Mo's Digital Pencil

Hi I'm here again with the second wedding card for the week, as I said in my previous post I was asked to make a wedding card for a friend who is in a wedding party and wanted a special card so I made two so she could choose.

This is the card that she chose for the wedding :)

The digital image is from Mo's Digital Pencil and is called 'Wedding Couple'

I colured the image with Copic Markers, cut the layers out using By DIEzyne Big stitched & Pierced Rectangle Dies, used some red ribbon and bling buckle from my stash to finish it off.

All Dressed Up Wedding

Hello one and all :)

I'm here today with a Wedding Card that a friend has asked me to make, she is in the wedding party and wanted a special handmade card for the bride and groom. The colours for the card were to be white with a little red and silver. Here is one that I made for her. 

The image is from 'All Dressed Up' that I picked up as a freebie from Simply Cards & Papercraft Magazine so not only is it super cue it was free!!! Yay! I coloured the image using Copics and Wink of Stella for the sparkly bits. 

I hope she likes it although I have made another so she gets to choose.

I'm Sorry!

Hi everyone,

I'm here today with a little card I made to say sorry, not for anything in particular but you never know when you might need a 'sorry' card and every time I saw  Duck's eyes looking up at me I just knew he was perfect for an apology card.

How sweet is he? I have kept the card very simple which I believe can speak volumes, the message is clear and without distraction. When I printed the little duck I was careful to ensure I would have plenty of 'white' space around him with room for the chipboard letters to form the word and enough distance above him so he appears to be looking up at the recipient. When colouring the 'duck' I used the 'flicking' technique that Zoe teachers in her 'Colouring Techniques with Markers' E-Book and some smooth blending on the duck's bill and feet. Here are the colours I used to colour him. Duck - E81, 84, 87 alternating the colours until I was happy with the result. Bill & Feet - Y21, YR21, YR24. I applied the lightest colour first then added the darker shades to create some depth. Eyes - E23, 27. I use a glue pen to adhere the Alpha Mini Caps Chipboard letters, I should've  draw a faint line where I wanted the letters to be because doing it freehand made it a little wobbly, never mind. I cut the cardstock out using ByDIEzyne Big Stitched and Pierced Rectangle Dies and adhered them all together with double sided tape and on the coloured layer I used mounting tape to adhere it and give it a little lift.

Birthday Girl.

Hello all :)

Today I am sharing a card I made for my daughters 13th birthday, She loved it :)

I have used 'Jenny Cheers' digital image and 'There's Magic in the Air' digital sentiment for her card.

Copic's used - Skin - E50, 51, 21. Eyes - E21, 23, 25, B60, B63. Hair - E41, 42, 43. Clothing - RV00, 11, 13, BG01, 02, 05, 49. Popper - Y13, 26, 28.

I caught the 'Shaker Card' bug this month with two other shaker cards made for my twin nieces 21st birthdays.

Hula Hoop Love - Saturated Canary

Hello friends,

I have a card I made using a Saturated Canary image called 'Hula hoop love' she is so sweet.

I coloured her with Copic Markers. 

Skin - E50, 51, 21, 04

Hair - Y21, 23, E15, 18

Clothing - V20, 22, 25. YG01,03, 17. BV20, 23, 25.

Hoop - W3, 5, 7. R24, 27.

I used 'Stitched Strips' Dies from By DIEzyne Dies and Make a Card #4 Dies from C.C.Designs Cutters

The patterned papers are from pads, 'Hello Spring' and 'Sugar & Spice' both from Doodlebug Designs. 

I must say I really enjoyed colouring this lovely up. I haven't been able to link the image sorry as I think she came with a bundle that is no longer available, if I find a link I will update this post.

There is an Elven in the Forest!

Hi all :)

Today I bring you a card that I have had printed for ages and finally got around to colouring.

This is 'Elven Ardella' in the 'Birch Forest'

I was trying for an autumn feel for this card and challenged myself with the sky, it's not what I had envisioned in my head but I'll keep practicing till it is :)

I coloured the image with Copic Markers.

A Castle for Our Princess.

For a Baby Boy

Here's a simple little card I made today featuring 'Sleeping Baby' a HouseMouse Stamp that I have had for quite awhile. My husband asked if I could make a birth card for one of his work colleagues about 10 days ago, but because we have all been quite ill it took until today for me to sit long enough to play instead of lying around feeling sorry for myself.

I coloured him with Copic's.

V0000,000, B21, 32, C1, E70, 71, 42, 43, YG93. 

And used ByDIEzyne 'Pierced Tickets' dies to cut out the shapes them a simple piece of blue ribbon to finish the card.

A very special post!!

Today I am posting a very special card, this card is special because the image has been drawn by my niece, you might say yep that's special but how is that very special?? Well it's very special because she is 11yrs old!!! Amazing!! I am so proud of her and I feel so honored to have coloured this the first of many original art works.

So CONGRATULATIONS Miss Piper on the beginning of your artistic journey!!

Urban Rezzie - Cast Shadow.

Hello friends, today is my turn for an inspiration post for the Make it Colourful July challenge 'Cast Shadows'. Zoe challenged me to do a cast shadow that went up a wall using elements from the 'Urban Streets Collections', so this is what I have come up with.

'Urban Rezzie'

I took a photo of my daughter standing near the wall in full sun so I could see how the shadow 'climbed' up the wall. This helped me so much with the challenge, I would never have coloured the shadow so dark if I didn't take this photo.

                                                                

I used mostly Copic's to colour this image with the addition of a few Kaszazz Alcohol Markers.

'Winter Pines'

This one is also using Copic Markers. Sky - B45, 37, C00, 1, 3. Pines - G5, 9, 28. Bare Tree - E42, 43, 44, 47. Snow - C00, 1, 3. Shadow - W4.
