Create Magical Moments - Make it Crafty

Hello friends :)

How are you today? Well I hope.

I'm excited to share my card today using the new 'Magical Adapt-a-word' and 'Magical' chipboard word along with 'Mr Snowman' digital image, 'Falling Snow Background'  rubber stamp, 'Mini Stars' chipboard and 'Pretty Snowflake' chipboard. I love how it turned out, just as I had imagined which doesn't always happen lol.

For the background I used Broken China and Faded Jeans Distress Oxide ink, then stamped the 'Falling Snow Background' rubber stamp using a light mist of water to 'remove' the ink and leave the 'whiteish' dots.

I coloured 'Mr Snowman' with Copic Markers - C0, 1, 3, YG21, 23, 25, 17, B000, 01, YR02, 04, 09, E43, 44. Fussy cut him out and mounted him on top on the 'Snow mounds' with mounting tape.

I coloured the 'Chipboard' items with white gel pen, faded jeans distress oxide ink and sprinkled the stars and snowflake with glitter. Then added a few clear sequences to bling it up a bit.
Thanks so much for stopping by, see you next time

Carlie with Flowers - Make it Crafty

Hello friends :)

I'm here today with a bright and cheery birthday card using 'Carlie with Flowers' and 'Birthday' chipboard word.
Isn't she gorgeous! I love her big eyes and cute 'pig tails' and who wouldn't want to receive that beautiful bouquet, I know I'd love it :)

Carlie with Flowers & Birthday chipboard word.

I coloured the digital image with Copic Markers and Polychromos Pencils.
 Skin - E000, 00, 01, 11, 04.
 Hair - E53, 55, 57. Bister 179, Yellow Ochre 183.
 Eyes - B000, 02, 60, 63, 66.
 Dress - B000, 01, 02, B63, 66.
 Socks - B60, 63, 66, White Gel pen, Dark Indigo 157.
 Shoes - N3, 5, 7, 9, Y26, 28.
 Bouquet - G43, 24, 46, RV52, 55, 66, Y13, 15, 17, B63, 66, C0, 1, 3.
 Shadows - E71, Warm Grey 274.

I cut a 30cm x 30cm piece of white card stock in half and used that for the card base, I ran a scrap piece of white card stock through my big shot with an embossing folder then trimmed it to 145cm x 50cm. Fussy cut Carlie with Flowers and mounted her on the embossed piece of card, stamped the word 'wishes' and then coloured and glued the 'Birthday' chipboard word to the card, finishing with a few sequences.

I hope you are all well and having a great day :)

'Till next time

Distress Oxide Fun! - Make it Crafty

Hi everyone :)

I had so much fun creating this card I couldn't wait to show you, it's not perfect but I thoroughly enjoyed making it.
I purchased some of the new Tim Holtz distressed oxide and started to create some colourful backgrounds, when I finished this one I knew I had to make a card with some sort of silhouette image on it, so off to the Make it Crafty store to look for a stamp or two :) I found 'Tree of Love rubber stamp' and 'Petals & Palings rubber stamp' , after I stamped them I had to colour black with a black pencil to achieve the silhouette effect and here it is!

I thought making it a shaker card would be fun and add a bit of interest to it. I coloured a Hello Chippy  with fired brick distress oxide and Black 100 copic marker, stamped the 'sunshine' word on a piece of card left over from cropping the background to add to the card.
To make the background I used Fired Brick, Spiced Marmalade and Fossilized Amber Distressed Oxide and 3 sponges to blend the colours together then squirted some water on it to achieve the splattered look.
I hope you get inspired to create something new today :)
