Pixie's Background.

Hello just thought I'd share a post I have done for C.C. Designs, it's a pictorial tutorial on a background I did for a new release stamp earlier this month.

The stamp is a Pollycraft design and her name is Pixie.

This is the background

and this is how I created it..

7.1 7.2 8 9 10 11

Using the colourless blender to create a droplet effect by holding it down on the paper for a few seconds it adds interest and dimension to the background.

So that's my pictorial tutorial if you have any questions please don't hesitate to ask.

The chipboard frame is one that Zoe made, I coloured it with a green smooch and the chipboard 'Mum' is from Make it Crafty, I used a red smooch to colour this one. I colored the Roses of Love with Copic's.

Roses - R24, 27, 39, 89.
Leaves - YG21, 23, 17.

The patterned papers I used are from a 6x6 pad called 'Words of Love'.

I hope my Mum loves this card as much as I do.

Make it Colourful Challenge 18 - Pink on Kraft!

Hello, today I'm showing you the card I made for the new challenge over at Make it Colourful and like most of these challenges they are exactly that, a challenge which may scare some people BUT get past that fear and have a go, they have been the best thing for me to do to improve and grow as a colourist. See I'm even calling myself a colourist instead of a colour-in-er-ra lol. No excuses people come and join the challenge, it feels so good to try new things and step outside our comfort zones.

Pink on Kraft - Feburary - LOVE!

I had a couple of first attempts using just polychromos pencils and I have to say it just wasn't working for me so out came the trusty Copic's which the majority of this image is coloured with except for the white bits which I used the pencils for. I will continue to practice with my pencils I promise.

I used the lovely Scott gives Penny Gift image and two of the NEW Chipboard words from the Doodle Valentine pack.

3 Big names in one project!

Little Miss Muffet Stamps

Hello lovely people, when I was asked to be part of the DoveArt Studio/Little Miss Muffet Stamps/ Make it Crafty blog hop my mind was racing with ideas on how to incorporate all of these companies in one project with the brand new DoveArt Studio Rubber Stamp Giraffe as the main focus.
This is what I came up with :)  I don't know what you would call it as its not a card as such, maybe just a creative project lol.

The images I used to create the scene are Adventure Mountains, Grassy ShrubsDaffodil Dell all from Make it Crafty, Jr. Hatter Gemma, Polka Dot Pals Cody minus his net from Little Miss Muffet Stamps and the featured Rubber Stamp Giraffe

I also used a die from C.C. Designs- Icicle Boarder upside down for the 'grass' because I don't have the Grass Boarder Die yet.

I have coloured all the images with Copic's - way too many to list sorry.
