Final Make it Crafty Blog Hop - Faries

UPDATE Winners Announced  - HERE

Hi everyone,
Welcome to the final Make it Crafty Blog Hop we hope you enjoy the last hurrah.
Although this could be a sad occasion for many, myself included I think it's time to celebrate everything that Make it Crafty has been to us all and especially to celebrate the loveliest 'boss lady' owner and operator Zoe.
Make it Crafty products have been a huge part of my crafting life with the amazing digital images, quality rubber stamps, those oh so adorable chippies and possibly the most influential products in the store the colouring tutorials, I learnt soooooo much from them. All of which would not be in my life without our Zoe, the kindest most helpful person I know, she's not only my (soon to be not) 'boss lady' but I'm so very proud to call her my friend as I'm sure many of you would feel the same.
I will miss Make it Crafty but Zoe will always be my friend.
So with no further ado here's my make for the hop.

Princess Fairy

I chose to colour Princess Fairy up in Christmas colours but I'm quite sure she will be adorable in any colours.

Now because this is a 'HOP' we have to have 'PRIZES' right?
This hop is a little different in that Zoe has allowed each of the MiC Gals to choose one person from the comments on our blog to be one of the winners of a surprise parcel from Zoe!! I've received surprise parcels from Zoe in the past and believe me it'll be an awesome one.

The lucky winner that I choose needs to tell me how they first heard of Make it Crafty and what was it that drew them to become a follower/customer of Make it Crafty.

Just follow the hop list for your chance to win

Andrea - that's me

We will be choosing our winners on Sunday 1st December.

As an extra special BONUS every customer who purchases any Make it Crafty product before the store closes will automatically receive the 3 brand new fairies that we are showcasing in this hop!!!

Thank you all for your support of Make it Crafty and of my almost 6 years as a Make it Crafty Design Team Gal, it's been an amazing journey and now is the time for a new chapter.

So darn proud to have this banner and to have been part of such an amazing design team.

Hi everyone,

It's been awhile since I've made a post as I lost my mojo and have only made a few cards this year, but I wanted to share this card I made for our very own leader, Zoe for her 40th Birthday last month.

Firstly I created and downloaded the 'fist' using WordArt from WordArt.com then placed Kimberly Weights digital stamp in the palm of the fist to show her strength just like our wonderful leader Zoe.

I coloured Kimberly Weights digital stamp with Copic Markers.

Hair - E41, 42, 43

I believe Zoe had a wonderful birthday and she loved the card :)

Thanks for taking the time to read my post, hopefully I'll get that mojo back and enjoy making cards again soon.

Hubby's Birthday Card

Hi all :)

Popping in with a quick card to share, I made this for my husbands birthday last month. His birthday came up so quickly I was madly making this late the night before lol.

I used

Happy Birthday to You Chipboard Quote Block

I used black pigment ink and black embossing powder on the Quote Block and after heat embossing it I added a small amount of Rusty Hinge and Weathered Wood Distress Oxide's to scruff it up a bit because my husband is a bit scruffy lol.

The die cut card bases are also distressed with Distress Oxide

  1. Black Soot
  2. Rusty Hinge
  3. Weathered Wood
  4. Hickory Smoke

I'm pleased to say he was very happy with his scruffy card ;)

Thank for stopping by

Just popping in with a project I made for my great nephew Carter for his 1st Christmas using Bleat Dreams from Tiddly Inks, it's just so sweet. Carter and his Dad and Mum have recently purchased some land and are planning to one day run sheep on it so I felt this would be fitting for him.

I coloured the image with Copic Markers, did some zentangles around the edges and popped it into a simple black frame.
