Time Flies - Tiddly Inks - Fab Friday

Hello lovelies :)

I here today to share this months Fab Friday make.

I made this card for my dear friend Zoe's belated Birthday, for someone who loves making cards I'm hopeless at getting them to their intended receiver on time, thank goodness for this super cute image

I tried to get a good photo showing the 'sparkly bits' but this was the best I could do.

I coloured the image with Copic Markers and Polychromos Pencils

Charming Santa!

Hi all :)

Wow Christmas is coming up so very quickly isn't it? I've made a few cards but I haven't even thought about gifts yet!!! I'd better get onto that.

Here's a Christmas card for today using the gorgeous 'Charming Santa' and 'Merry CHRISTMAS outline word' both of these cuties are currently on SALE but only for 2 more days!!! Check out the Make it Crafty store for all the Christmas SPECIALS!

I did get a little heavy handed with the grey's on Charming Santa which makes him look like he's been down a lot of Chimney's lol.

I coloured Charming Santa with Copic Markers

Skin - E00, 01, 11, 13

White/Grey bits - C0, 2, 4

Red bits - R24, 27, 46.

Gold bits - Y21, 26, 28

Black bits - C6, 8, 10.

I used white pigment ink and fine white embossing powder on the 'Merry CHRISTMAS outline word'

One more Clean and Simple Christmas card done, now to get onto those gifts ;)

Dimension Dimension Dimension!! Tiddly Inks Challenge #219

Hello :)
Today's post is a Tiddly Ink Challenge post for November and the challenge is all about Dimension, so think pop up makes or using mounting tape or sliders anything that pops out.

I took this pic before I had the candy canes in the chimney, not a great photo but it shows the 'shape' of the card better.

I got the idea for this card after seeing a similar one a friend had made with the box (aka chimney) with a lid on it which was super cute, she got the idea from a Stampin Up catalog. I adjusted to suit my 'Christmas roof' idea. It was so much fun to make.

I coloured the Tiddly Inks images with Copic Markers

Merry Molly

Set of Four Christmas Cards - Make it Crafty

Hello fellow crafters :)

How are you going with your Christmas Cards this year?? Can you believe it's November already? Well I've got four quick Christmas Cards that might inspire you to make some homemade cards for your friends and families.

I chose to use these cute little Elves from Make it Crafty

I went through my scrap Christmas papers and found four different patterns then cut them to size, added some distress oxide (Twisted Citron, Squeezed Lemon and Peeled Paint) with an ink blender to the right side of the cards then squirted it with a little water to get some texture, cut some green and red plain card stock into strips and placed it on top of the patterned paper, coloured the elves, fussy cut them and mounted them with dimensional tape, glued the Chipboard Words in place and finished the card with some sequences.

They really are quite simple to make, I had them lined up in a production line. So no excuses, I want to see your Christmas Cards soon :)
