Final Make it Crafty Blog Hop - Faries

UPDATE Winners Announced  - HERE

Hi everyone,
Welcome to the final Make it Crafty Blog Hop we hope you enjoy the last hurrah.
Although this could be a sad occasion for many, myself included I think it's time to celebrate everything that Make it Crafty has been to us all and especially to celebrate the loveliest 'boss lady' owner and operator Zoe.
Make it Crafty products have been a huge part of my crafting life with the amazing digital images, quality rubber stamps, those oh so adorable chippies and possibly the most influential products in the store the colouring tutorials, I learnt soooooo much from them. All of which would not be in my life without our Zoe, the kindest most helpful person I know, she's not only my (soon to be not) 'boss lady' but I'm so very proud to call her my friend as I'm sure many of you would feel the same.
I will miss Make it Crafty but Zoe will always be my friend.
So with no further ado here's my make for the hop.

Princess Fairy

I chose to colour Princess Fairy up in Christmas colours but I'm quite sure she will be adorable in any colours.

Now because this is a 'HOP' we have to have 'PRIZES' right?
This hop is a little different in that Zoe has allowed each of the MiC Gals to choose one person from the comments on our blog to be one of the winners of a surprise parcel from Zoe!! I've received surprise parcels from Zoe in the past and believe me it'll be an awesome one.

The lucky winner that I choose needs to tell me how they first heard of Make it Crafty and what was it that drew them to become a follower/customer of Make it Crafty.

Just follow the hop list for your chance to win

Andrea - that's me

We will be choosing our winners on Sunday 1st December.

As an extra special BONUS every customer who purchases any Make it Crafty product before the store closes will automatically receive the 3 brand new fairies that we are showcasing in this hop!!!

Thank you all for your support of Make it Crafty and of my almost 6 years as a Make it Crafty Design Team Gal, it's been an amazing journey and now is the time for a new chapter.

Andrea xx

So darn proud to have this banner and to have been part of such an amazing design team.

  1. Ooh she makes a lovely Christmas angel 😍 Thank you for posting how you color it her. I first heard of Make It Crafty on Facebook. I became a customer of Make It Crafty because of the range of images, everything from cute little girls to realistic backgrounds.

  4. I love the way you have coloured her into a Christmas angel, she is lovely. I first found MIC stamps on a website in the UK year's ago and fell in love with the images. I was so sad when they closed and looked up the main site as I couldn't find the stamps anywhere else in the UK. I am now so sad that Zoe is closing but wish her all the best for the future, and will treasure the stamps I have got

  6. I love your mini colouring tutorial. I can't quit remember how I first heard about MIC, I think it was in the days of Digi Galore on Facebook, I saw some incredible images and decided to dip my toe in and I'm glad I did. I've learnt so much and gained so much from Zoe and her team of lovely ladies, I will miss you all

  8. I found Zoe through COPIC coloring. I have her books and LOTS of her digis and chippies. I was helping Jennwith Boot Camp last year when Zoe popped in via video and taught pleats and folds. She’s amazing!! Will miss her in the crafting world but I’m looking forward to her next venture. ❤️❤️❤️

  11. I first heard of MIC from Jennifer's bootcamp. Then I had the privilege to take a class by Zoe when she came to AZ few years ago - it was background class she taught at the Paper Collage. I was hooked. I have several of her digi stamps and love her little chippies.

  12. What a lovely card, Andrea!
I found MIC back in 2012, do not remember where I heard about MIC first time, but then I started to buy digis… MIC has been a BIG part of my crafting life since then. All the time inspiration was gone, all the time my colouring went wrong: just pick up a motif from MIC, and creativity flows again!!! So, MIC closing down is really, really sad! But I wish Zoe and all the MIC gals all the best in the future! I have loved to be able to follow you all for so long <3 <3

  16. I was supprised to see you started out with a blue...but I should not have been since I have the shading guides. I love what it does to the darker sections of the dress, however my favorite is the wings; I love the color, and the dots just add so much. I can't wait to try it on my Christmas cards. Also, I think the dress is similar to the ornament next to her, and makes me think she is like an ornament too.

  17. I think I first found MIC when I was looking for background stamps. I then discovered the Facebook group and Zoe and loved her tutorials. I will miss MIC a lot

  18. I found "Make It Crafty" after buying a red rubber stamp online, with a picture from the same artist that drew these lovely fairys. As i follow her on DeviantArt i wmessaged her asking about this as i was a)worried someone had copyed her design and profited off it b)hoping it was legit as it was a stamp i had not seen before. It turned out the be the last one and she gave me the link to "Make It Crafty" and the rest was history and my best purchase of a rubber stamp ever!

  20. Oh my goodness, this is stunning! The gold wings 😱 coloring goals!
I think I first found MiC looking for a princess for a birthday card for my daughter. And let's be honest, there's lots to choose from, lol. I'm sad the store with an image for literally every occasion is closing. I will miss it!

  21. This colouring is beautiful Andrea. I first came across Zoe years ago when I started buying rubber stamps, can't even imagine what year it was (we are both a lot older now I know that). I didn't even know what a digital stamp was way back then, but I caught up with technology and started purchasing digis from her and of course her beautiful chipboard, tutorials and classes. I am going to miss her so much. I feel she was there with me all the way through my craft journey. I wish her all the best, but gee I am going to miss supporting her Aussie talent, as I live in Australia too.

  23. OMG your Fairy is AMAZING. I remember when you first started colouring look how far you have come you should be Soooooo proud of your self too. Well I first met Zoe and discovered her AMAZING Digi's when she went to a craftshow in Melbourne and I had my first job as a Junior DT and went to meet my first boss there and shesent me over to see Zoe colour. Well that was it I even got to guest for her a few years later I was Soooo EXCITED. She is one AMAZING GIRL and wish her all the best in her next venture.

  24. WOUW what an awesome image and your coloring is amazing Andrea, sooo beautiful and soo perfect in any way.
I first heard of Zoe and her stamps from an Australian friend, who sent me a birthdaycard, and I was sold on the image she had used on it, and asked her, where it was from, and she told me about it, and I´ve been a huge fan ever since, that´s for sure.

  27. Wow such awsome coloring of that fairy! Love it. I first found MIC when I was at the very beginning of coloring. I saw a coloring tutorial at youtube, and since I was a newbie I wanted the exact same image and the same copic markers to try to color myself. It was the image Fairest of all Princess. And I fell in love with MIC. Needless to say It´s been many more images over the years.

  30. Stunning! I'm not sure exactly when I first "learned" of MIC but think it was when I was looking for a masculine image and RC vehicles. I found Racing Rick and the rest was history :-)

  31. Your colouring is just gorgeous, love the deep red! My first stamp from Zoe was the kitchen scene. I had started to merge images to create my own scenes. Then I came back for the funny stamps, like the Geeky parents, too cute! So sorry to see Make it Crafty go!

  32. Beautiful image and love the colours you choose for this one. Boy oh boy, I may have been one of the first followers of Make it Crafty. Lol I was obsessed with digital stamps as I just couldn’t master the rubber stamps. Lol I especially loved the sets with mom and dads, and of course the just married couple. I’ve coloured them so many times. We will all miss Zoe humour, colouring and her kindness!
